Concluded, no. Suspect, yes. Meaning can only derive from a structured order in the cosmos. Even admitting the existence of the super- rational, it only makes sense within a mystical framework. Wonder is either a prelude to rational investigation, or a state we are in by virtue of experiencing some thing holy. To set it aside, in a secular context, as superior to Reason is philosophically insupportable, and argues that one is simply favoring expansive moods without regard to their provenance. If that is so, autoerotic asphyxiation is at least as much to be cherished as the Stations of the Cross, and more than reflecting on the groundwork of ethics.
