gzubeck: My concern about flash and AMD is the enormous revenues that are necessary to produce a modest profit. It is a truism that flash is a commodity subject to sharp and frequent fluctuations in supply and demand. It is not difficult to visualise a situation where modest profits turn quickly to serious losses. I also worry that from an investors point of view, that AMD's guidance on flash has not been adequate or reliable, either on the ramp of Mirrobit (we now learn belatedly there were technical problems and perhaps it was these problems and not the reluctance of users to adapt that delayed the ramp)or on current demand and inventory.
