If gold has some days of big moves up of 5 to 10 per day, doesn't that also make us subject to possible villent corrective moves of the same or higher volatility. Those won't be fun. How can it be a negative to be going up a little bit here a little bit there almost every day...it creates multiple support levels as we go to keep the chart looking tidy. If we crawl our way to 450 or 460 over the next 3-4 weeks wouldn't that be great?

I see your point about the mining shares...does the gol dindex usually lead the gold price?
