...O'Donnell is now claiming that President Bush did not win a majority, and, in fact, there will be a secession.

Yes, that political-genius with a towering intellect claimed that there would be a Blue State secession. And when called on that lunacy, he didn't back down. I don't believe that the transcript is available yet (the most current transcript for TMG that I can find is from October 22nd).

First, take a look at the 2004 Election map (blue and red states). Then, look at how many counties are red on the USA county map. Aside from Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, there doesn't appear to be any state with a majority of blue counties. So where is the secession going to come from?

And do I have to mention that the military supports the President. And most military bases are in Red states. I'm sure some of you could come up with better reasons...like, um, common sense and the fact that most who voted for Kerry aren't frothing at the mouth for civil war...that there won't be a secession from the union....

Dems Come Full Circle
Once again, the Democratic Party base is playing around with the idea of secession. Not only that, they are getting fired up to prevent a black man from becoming Chief Justice. Some things never change.
