(Nasdaq: JUNI) announced today that it has retained OTC Communications of
Needham, Massachusetts to direct its investor awareness program.
Through its Juniper Medical Systems subsidiary, Juniper Group works with
service providers and plan administrators to address the problems associated
with managed care. The subsidiary operates two wholly-owned entities,
PartnerCare, Inc. and Juniper Healthcare Containment, Inc.
The PartnerCare division has developed a managed care revenue enhancement
program (MCREP) designed to optimize revenues and streamline operations for
newly evolving integrated hospital and physician markets. The program
examines and restructures elements of the providers' daily operations, adding
up to an additional 12% in managed care revenues. PartnerCare receives a
percentage of this revenue and is compensated for services rendered.
By providing a broader network of affiliated hospitals and physicians, the
Company's Juniper Healthcare Containment division enables health plan
companies to offer discounted services to enrollees. Juniper Group will
concentrate on growing this subsidiary once PartnerCare is more fully
developed.
