When it becomes apparent to the general investing public that the risk to heretofore rock solid investments is dramatically increased, they
will then start looking at y2k as a hedge to the stock market fall out. I myself was looking at investment prospects in utilities today.
Having become educated about imbedded chips, I soon decided that this once staid investment was too risky for me to think about in any long term perspective(2-3 years or longer). JMO.
