See David brooks in NYT yesterday on exurbia talking to this point. This is different than reagan dems. These are folks who are now known as security moms and dads. They want a peaceful world too but more than that they want to secure this country so 9/11 cant happen again. They sense a certain stupidity in the folks who spend their time bashing bush and especially the US. Kerry might have won that vote because bush has certainly made some mistakes, if he had rebuked michael moore and whoopy goldberg like bill clinton did with sister soljah. Instead he embraced that slimy dirtbag MOORE.
