I think we an agree that the lessons learned from our falujah assault should guide us going forward. I do not think its as hopeless as you make it out to be. Post Falujah war op has to be far better than post iraq op was or else you will be right. I suspect a valiant attempt post-battle will be made to prove neocon right and you wrong. If you are right it may be time to go. But, just but what if we are right and the terrorists end up on the run and falujah returns to some degreee of peace with reconstruction underway, what then? will you admit you were wrong? mike
