I believe that Nov 17 is the "record date", which is 3 business days after the last day you can buy it and receive the dividend. So you must buy it or own it by Nov 12, and the next business day it trades "ex-dividend", without the dividend. So ex-div date is Nov 15, as far as I know. That's also what Morgan Stanley has told me.
