Maybe the accounts are officialy owned by my brokerage house.
It shows up as mine in the statements, that's what I go by.

My kids have a stack of Israel bonds in their name (i.e. no brokerage is involved). It doesn't seem to cause the IRS any grief (although they have to pay taxes on their pittance of an income at our rate, why doesn't Bushy do something about the children-penalty taxes?)
