Hi Mark - I get the feeling that it is not IBM that is looking at Novell but Sun Microsystems. Watch SUNW on Tuesday to see if an offer is proposed. It would not be a buyout but a merger and it is my guess that SUNW would be suitor. I did a property profile scan (about a year ago) on Novell for all parcels loacated in the county of Santa Clara. I found no property that Novell owned in East San Jose. It may be a recent purchase or a parcel that they lease. The San Jose site (near the airport) is indeed a prime location. I know that this is a jewel that either SUNW or IBM would want. If I had to place odds on a SUNW or IBM merger..it would be 20:1 for IBM and 5:1 on SUNW. Only time will tell. EKS
