If they exist and we can't know what they are, it's moot. They're not useful for anything.

I could come up with some moral absolutes, that is, what I think should be moral absolutes were there any. I trust you could, too, and most other people. Problem is that the lists wouldn't be the same. So what do we do about that? If we all insist that our absolutes are THE absolutes, we have unnecessary conflict, which is immoral. Absolutely.
