Bob, we did not create the $.65 dollar, Sarge I think that is unfair. We allowed our loonie to sink. We sold our gold reserves. Are we not a sovereign nation ? Now we've got a (IMHO :o) hypocritical sycophant in the PM chair .. I give Chretien a ton of credit for his China initiatives... He was at least headed in the right direction... I know lots are calling for par in the USD / Loonie relationship now... So far though I don't buy it... We have too many whiners up here... FOX ? yeah it's biased... but is it the CRTC's job to 'protect' us ? I bet a lot of the folks whining about FOX watch a lot of other US programming. City TV sure is biased. Lastly... I disagree with quite a few of Bob's points... But I don't think he is all wrong and he sure is a point of balance on this thread as he says... So Bob stick around. When everyone agrees it's usually wrong. Oh and Bruce.. thanks for those links. They look like some decent reading to pick up for the annual Montreal Christmas pilgrimage... Every once in a while when I disagree with someone I stop and think... , but what would this guy do if he found me stuck in a ditch ? It often adds a different perspective... regards Kastel...
