Tomorrow the annual Federalist Society convention starts, and Ted Olsen is replacing Ashcroft as the opening speaker. The only other things I know I want to see is a lecture by Scalia (Friday), and a panel on amending the Constitution re: gay marriage (Saturday). Is it worth shlepping into DC via metro for 3 days? I'll decide tomorrow AM. Last year Krauthammer was on one of the panels. THAT was worth the admission. fed-soc.org
