This seems to be an extraordinary time to get into Vans! They're being managed better than ever and their momentum as a company is gathering a lot of steam; meanwhile their P/E, price/sales and price/book represent a classic value play... there's a lot of room for appreciation and some real downside protection. I like the diversification into the surfing side...it seems like a logical extension of the skate/snowboard angle. But more and more people I meet are also buying them now just because they look and feel great. I've just bought shares for my SEP account... Ted
