Now let's get back to the real conversation.

The topic is global warming and whether or not us humans can do something about it.

This is where we were:

Your position seems to be (and correct me if I am wrong) that global warming is currently taking place but there is no proof that anything we are doing as a species actually affects it.

More specifically, do you stand unconvinced that global warming is affected by greenhouse gases released by burning fossil fuels? [That seems to me the only way you could claim, with a straight face, that global warming is not being affected by our industrial life and hence we should continue to ignore it]

Say the word, and I will once more gladly destroy this particular illusion of yours :-)

Show me a model that can perfectly recreate past known
weather & temps on a global scale using known data. When
that happens I'll listen to their purely speculative theories
about the future, but I will still be skeptical.

There is no perfect weather model to forecast even for next week either, but I watch the weather channel before packing for a weekend in London. I suggest you do the same.
