Kodiak Bull and others...a question.....

I am considering a consulting job that will take me to Santiago, Chile for a month next March/April 2005, in the Manufacturing sector of their economy.
My public exposure will be minimal.

Has anyone been there recently...?

what is their political climate...?

I will be keeping my mouth shut regards my political views, so they won't know I am a hard core right winger...

I do know that the company I am going to be consulting for does not offer security of any type, their attitude is... Security for what ?

In todays global political climate I seriously wonder if I would be at risk as a Norte Americano ...

any input appreciated...

I have googled this subject but was wondering if anyone here had any personal experience...?

regards
