He was a captain of a swift boat in Vietnam. He has been a Senator for 20 years. If he walks like a leader and the talks like a leader, there is a good chance he is one.

Leaders are respected by those who follow them. I cannot find any evidence that Kerry is respected by any other Senators. He really seemed to be running a surrogate Kennedy campaign. Everywhere Kerry was, there was Ted. John finally shook him a month or so before November. Kerry's name is on the sponsorship of eleven bills; after you delete the personal recognition ones there are 4 or 5 left. Your definition of a Senate leader is one who writes one bill every six year term? Wow, That would not be my definition of a Congressional leader. His committee memberships don't show any sign of leadership.

When Bush heard the Bin Laden tape, he knew what he thought about it, Kerry had to take a poll to find out how he felt. LOL That is the problem Ted, when it becomes a moral issue <i.you are supposed to pay attention to what your people want. You and I clash most here; morals are morals, and you cannot spin morals. Polls may say you can slime out being immoral, but you would still be a slime. I don't respect slime. How do you feel about slime?

The problem with the swifties is who can tell where the facts end and their hatred begins.

That letter had nothing to do with the swift boat veterans. It was the work of former JAG officers (military lawyers). The only lawyers that are not compelled to tell the truth every time they make any statement regarding legal issues and the law appear to be the Clintons. The rest are compelled by legal ethics to tell the truth.

Because he may have made a campaign mistake does not make him not a leader

His campaign mistake was running for the office knowing that he was discharged less than honorably. He thought he could keep it a secret, and the FMSM did their best to help him. The truth got out, and only those who did not want to know the truth believe the spin from the FMSM.

You are right, we need ot stop worrying about Kerry. Let the Attorney General decide whether to impeach him under Article 14 of the Constitution. A 2/3 majority vote of the Congress could remove his impediment, and allow him to legally serve in his office.

Here is a shorter note about Kerry's impediment:
