Soros has shown a strange tendency to compromise with vandals, his hedge fund activities over the years have not been very philanthropic, although I admire his guts to make money but making money is opportunism of highest order, making this world a better place to live calls on some other very special qualities, man driven with craving of money and business rarely are able to elevate themselves to those lofty ideals and stations

The fact that someone has a talent for finance does not mean that his political views are worthwhile.

The same principle applies to the politically active Hollywood types, most of whom have not seen the inside of a college except perhaps to make a film.

These are not serious people. They have money or a ready made forum, fortuitous circumstances that in the minds of many equals wisdom.
