So, Al Qaeda has resources without limit? We're in big trouble then. But consider: Three years ago, bin Laden slammed jet airplanes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. This year, he "slammed" a videotape onto al Jazeera. Do you really think that this was the sort of follow-on action he contemplated for his war on the US, after September 11th, 2001?

But, we are using Al Qaeda for what amounts to fight a religious war that could have tragic consequences. The fact is you could find many people who can coordinated 12 individuals with box cutters to create great harm for almost any cause.

Al Qaeda is only a small subset of potential future terrorist groups.

To fight this like a conventional war is not the answer.
