Fallujah is another example of Rumsfeld and friends' lack of the ability to execute. They blast the trumpet about the imminent attack for weeks, which allows all the leaders like Zarqawi to escape, then they attack. The U.S. is going to ge blamed for civilian deaths anyway. We should have developed Iraqi spies to go in and bring us intelligence about the leaders where abouts and then surrounded Fallujah in an unbreakable cordon. Then send in assassins to knock him out. It's like Tora Bora again. Big show of force and no results, as all the leaders escape.

For the life of me, I can't figure what they think they are accomplishing. And in case any one thinks the media is lying....note all the car bombs and killings going on in other parts of Iraq since the fighting broke out in Fallujah.

In the end, we will own Fallujah and the insurgents will have regrouped in other parts of Iraq. The whole thing will start all over again.
