George Bush Has No Mandate Sam Hamod
Whether George Bush won the election by hook or by crook, or even fairly, let us make clear, GEORGE BUSH HAS NO MANDATE FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE; he may have a small majority, or none at all, if you take into effect the numerous cases of voter irregularities that are coming to the surface these days.
Somehow Bush and his consorting, consenting and fawning media are trying to brainswash the public into believing that Bush has won an overwhelming victory--as if he won at 70 vs 30, or a 60 vs 40 victory. In fact, the margin of victory was very small. Almost half the American people did not vote for Bush, and if the irregularities are ever fully investigated, maybe more voted against Bush. Thus, he has no mandate--and don't let anyone convince you that he has.
One of the biggest problems with the American public these days is that they believe so many of the lies they are told by the media and by the Bush team. Things in Iraq are going very badly, yet the public believes Fox and other channels and Bush and they think we are "winning" in Iraq. In fact, we are losing more ground every day, our words about "democracy," and "freedom," sound hollow to the rest of the world because they know we are killing Iraqis, especially civilians, in order to "free them," and to give them this fabled "democracy" and "liberty."
The public also doesn't understand that we are destroying the land of the birthplace of our modern civilization by destroying Iraq. They also do not realize that 75-80% of the Muslims in the world are Sunni Muslims and that Fallujah is the Sunni capitol of Iraq. This means that 80% of the 1.6 billion Muslims in the world are watching with anger and grief at our massive attacks on Fallujah, where daily there are reports of women and children being killed and our commanders calling them, "insurgents."
Our people also are not aware that one of the commanders, a certain foolish and illiterate, has called Islam the religion of Satan and said his troops were going in to kill the people of Satan! What nonsense, what evil, what kind of American morality is this. Have we raised a generation of military imbeciles like General Boykin and this man? I fear so.
There is no mandate. There is no victory in Afghanistan. There is no victory in Iraq. Bin Laden has not been captured or stopped. There is no Al Zarqawi in Iraq and there never was. Saddm and Bin Laden were enemies and not friends; they both put prices on one another's heads. There were no WMDs in Iraq. The Iraqi populace suffered under American imposed sanctions, killing over 100,000 children and leaving more diseased, and more today with disease because there is no clean drinking water or medicines to fight the diseases rampant in Iraq today. The hospitals in Iraq are being destroyed every day by more American bombardments, not being rebuilt. The shools have not been rebuilt; most classes are in bombed out buildings, often without roofs, with no desks or books for the children--and no pay for the teachers in most cases. The electricity has not been restored; the money allocated for that was spent on luxuries for Bremer and friends, and for security to protect the puppet government installed by Bush, namely Allawi, Chalabi and their cronies, and the nefarious Ambassador John Negroponte. Finally, we are not making friends; we are making enemies all over the world.
Our mask as a democracy has fallen off; our mask as promoting democracy has long been gone with the overthrow of Mossadegh in Iran, Allende in Chile, Aristide in Haiti and other democratic leaders in Grenada and elsewhere--now in Iraq and Afghanistan where our puppets hang on only with protection for U.S. troops and mercenaries from Blackwell, Halliburton and others.
We should all look at the truth and quit letting such liars as General Myers, Bill O'Reilly, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, George Bush and the chief liar, Dick Cheney, tell you about reality. Look for yourself. Look at the jobs lost, the push for more outsourcing so that even state governments in Florida, California, Arizona and others are outsourcing their state jobs to India. Look when you see your fathers, uncles, aunts, sisters and brothers being shipped off to war--and then tell me how wonderful things are. Just how wonderful things are!!
