Scott Peterson Trial
By Chad Evans on U.S. News

The final verdict of the Scott Peterson trial is set to be released at 4 p.m. EST today. My guess is that it will either be a mistrial or not guilty. I would side with not guilty based upon the judge not wanting to declare a mistrial through all of the irregularities that have already occured.

The final jury has only been deliberating for a little over one day, therefore it is reasonable to assume there were not “problems” with finding Peterson not guilty. Naturally, it’s beyond a reasonable doubt and I’m not sure if you could find Peterson guilty beyond a reasonable doubt at this point.
