You finally ask an intelligent question, "Why don't we stop them at the border?" And what is the answer to the question? Then on your very next post you lose me. As an apt. developer you used Mexican laborers because they were less expensive and that's OK, They were legal. but then you are condemning the American bosses for not paying them enough....which is it?? Typically, Mexicans/Latinos get much less than their American counterparts for their level of work. OR does it just depend when you are the boss?? BTW what should the minimum wage be for an illegal alien???? The same as Americans..........why does an experienced American carpenter get $18 per hour and a Mexican $10? And to generalize that it's a sad life... They probably have a much better quality of life here, making more than enough to send money home, where their families are enjoying a better life, and many times their family will be here before too long. Yup. That's one way of looking at it.
