Demonstrators Protest Fallujah Battle

Not in Iraq, but Denmark. From the AFP via the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) : Hundreds of demonstrators have taken to the streets of the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and two other major cities to protest against the US-led coalition’s assault on the Iraqi city of Fallujah.About 400 people took part in the capital in a torchlight parade to the US embassy, braving rain and freezing cold to chant “Fallujah united will never be defeated”. Banners called for the 500 Danish troops in Iraq to be pulled out, an end to the “massacre in Iraq” and for the US to quit. Slogans called for an end to the “bombardments of Fallujah, whose citizens’ only crime is to want to decide for themselves their destiny,” according to Lars Kjaer, a spokesman for the protesters....
