when to poot ebay again ? not an easy question -g- i didn't do so well on the "poot" side of things but i figured that if i wanted to be long and strong on the gold/energy side i should mitigate the risk by having a pocket full of puts on the overall market...i still have lots of puts, for example qqq dec 37's...sbux dec 50's...mmm dec 75's and a couple ebay dec 95's (sold the 100's, and eliminated my short) and they could still pay off as for pooting ebay or others again, i'm dithering between : a) letting these go up a couple or few more points and trying again from a higher base price - ( such as maybe picking a nice round number like the triple q's at 40 ) b) accepting that maybe this is a 1999 type party all over again...and gettin' the H-*-L-L out of the way ! edit, a lot of woodshed readers read the epic thread too, or at least i presume so, nevertheless, here's a recent post expressing caution on the short side for now...
