I see no hope at all for our country in Iraq or anywhere else. We have gone from ecstatic hope on November 2 to the total lack of any optimism at home or abroad. This will not be healed anytime soon. The only great American President is Jeb Bartlett on The West Wing. If the fraud is not divulged in time we are a recognized super power who has no morally legal agenda in the world. How can our news attribute victory in the killing of thousands of innocents in a country that was self-destructing on its own without us entering at all. We are the scourge of billions, not millions of the world community. America has no credibility with any nation. Not even Britain. As America reaps what it has sowed we cannot blame anyone but ourselves. The rightwing has won, but what have they won? What men and women will willingly join our armed forces? What grand cause will they use to enlist? As we wipe out Falluja and move on to Mosul what will be our battle cry? How will Rumsfeld explain this? America has lost much more than this recent war, we have lost our integrity. We have no moral compass. Sorry Sioux
