I don't remember posting to you, so this hostile message is a surprise. You can appreciate that it feels as though a virtual stranger dropped by only to squirt a bit of mystery-vitriol on me. You must think I did something to deserved it, though.

If you don't have me mixed up with someone else, I must have thought what I said to you was fair. I take it that you were a friend of Chris Land's. FYI, although I think (and SI Admin thought) that his unwelcome posts to the woman I mentioned were inappropriate, I had nothing whatever to do with his banning. I have never asked SI Admin to ban anyone, including Chris Land.

If water over "the damned" is because I called CL a "fundie wierdo," well, coug, plenty of fundamentalists would agree that CL was a wierdo. If that offended you, I apologize.

I would be interested to see the post you consider to have been "reaming [you] out," but if you can't put your finger on it, please give me a clue as to what each of us said at the time, okay? What was the "wrong by another" that you pointed out? Who was the "another" and what was the "wrong"? Why did the exchange suggest to you that my "mind" is "NOT TOO clean"?

I think fairness suggests that if someone posts as insultingly to someone as you have just done to me, the object of the insults has a right to know what they did to deserve them.

I do apologize for offending you and hurting your feelings -- because you still feel it two years later, and felt you were only pointing something out, I accept that I must have overreacted. Maybe I was having a bad day or something. (Not an excuse, I know.) I'm very sorry. If you'll clarify, I'll try to explain where I was coming from at the time, if I can.
