ascribing all this intelligence and wisdom to Rove. He does start to play the same game over and over. It was more apparent here in Texas where we have seen the tricks before. The democrats at the national level don't seem to anticipate what he does. Some of the tactics he uses over and over: 1) Find out what your opponent will lead with as his good characteristic and then get surrogates to lie about it. He doesn't even care if the lie if obvious so long as he can keep it in the news and keep his ditto-heads repeating it. 2) Anticipate your own weak area, and create an absurd conspiracy story around it so that when it is inevitably exposed you can claim that to be part of the absurd theory. He's done at least those two steps in every race. TP
