Gerry,

I'm not getting totally out of Y2K this quarter ... forever. I'm still planning on being around for the "fire sale" 1st quarter '98.

Y2K will still be the best play, selectively ... in/out ... but, not loooooong-term.

I'm just not going to play with Y2K again thru the end of the year. Except my "nameless" holding (which I don't consider straight Y2K, but that's what got everyone on this thread interested in it in the first place.) I think there's an opportunity to make a LOT of money, now and thru the end of the year with Y2K (or beginning of next ... like what happened in early '97) ... I'm just not going to be a big part of that.

I probably won't be investing in "tools", except short-term going into earnings. For me, 1998 will continue to be Indian software companies (which I have never considered straight Y2K), my "nameless" stock and testing companies.

In any event, I'm worried about 4th quarter '97. Like I said, I've done so well (for me), that I can afford to sit back.

I'll be in Italy, Greek islands and Turkish coast early to mid-October. I just don't want to worry about the market and my investments then.

We all have different goals and objectives. As serious as I might come across on this board ... I'm still this free spirit ... who, has never been married ... has never had children ... so, I can do what I want ... when I want ... when the spirit strikes me.

I do the same with my stocks.

Cheryl
