Being evasive tends to cause questions to be repeated. But if you're finding it difficult, feel free to continue not to reply.

On what basis were the approximately 10k German-Americans detained? Not simply because they were Germans. Nobody bothered my grandparents or anyone known to my family. Say that about a Japanese-American family of that time!

Such an obfuscation, JD! -- What was the percentage of German-Americans imprisoned, even remembering that the German imprisonments weren't ethnic, compared to the percentage of Japanese imprisoned -- and what percentage of the imprisoned Japanese were imprisoned for reasons other than that they were "Japs."
How about just these TWO little questions, just these 2.

1) why weren't the prisoners' assets protected? Their homes, their livelihoods, if it was felt to be necessary for "security" to imprison thousands of families? Was it appropriate for them to be impoverished as well as imprisoned, iyo?

2) why was the study that had been done demonstrated a high degree of loyalty among Japanese-Americans kept secret? do you think it was right to keep it secret?

J. Pilch has provided the answers, but I'd really like seeing yours.

I don't hate Bush. I just have contempt for him. That's not the same as hate.

But I think it's funny that you have changed the subject from an historical issue to whether I hate various presidents.
