Pollard was paid, but that doesnt change the information he supplied which assisted Israel in its defense planning, the same intelligence which was witheld from them, which is why Caspar Weinberger made it is career to ensure that Pollard be imprisoned. As an American, this is appalling that Weinberger was to use this individual to keep his legacy from being revealed.
