[GTE Split & Buyout]

Hi Bell Boy,

Re: <<Why would GTE or any other company split the ADSL contract between Amati & Westell? I am a CPA, so please keep it as simplictic as possible.>>

Since your a CPA Bell Boy you might understand my non-technical thinking. Could it be GTE received swell lunches from BOTH Westell and Amati?

Re: Buyout possibilities. Should a suitor make offers before or after a Salomon secondary? Does the offer reflect the Sumitomo & Seimans distribution pacts and the royalties that go with the Texas chip? In my opinion Amati is untouchable.
