"implication that secular life has failed to provide a means to fulfilment for the "ordinary" person." Or could it possibly be that humanity is "hardwired" to seek God? To me it is evident that there had to be a supreme being behind the creation of the cosmos. It is unfair to say that our seeking God is the source of our problems. It is what man has done to subjugate the masses that is the problem. Unfortunately, man saw religion as the vehicle. The most difficult thing for man to accept is the simplicity of accepting a personal relationship with whatever they understand God to be. In our self righteous, greed filled world man just had to phoney it up. James
