Yep, Jefferson et al warned us about people like Bush. Unfortunately lessons in civics and history are lost on the generation hooked on American Idol.

Frontline is doing a piece on WalMart this week on PBS. Something like: is it good for America?

I dunno, the US Taxpayer foots the bill for Wal-Mart's refusal to pay a living wage, that's probably not such a good thing. It's like the US Taxpayer footing the bill for Bechtel's cheap construction (it's gushing water) of the Boston BigDig tunnel.

Corporate Welfare: it's rampant. Whatever happened to capitalism?
