THE REAL COST OF CHEAP GASOLINE

Re: If Persian Gulf oil were anywhere near fairly priced (based on the 100 Billion or more spend in the region each year now) each barrel would cost 166$ (did the math recently) and the gasoline produced would be over 6$ a gallon.

I've done a very similar study and come to the same conclusion. The cost of our dependency on Middle Eastern oil is astronomical. And now, to the extent that America is losing its very soul. The attack on Fallujah will go down in history as one of the most unjustified genocides the world has ever witnessed. (Not that any genocide can be justified.) And all for the sake of cheap oil. We truly are a nation of pathetic, vicious addicts.
