Well, it was a biopic, so I'm not sure how much room there was for artsiness. I have seen The Commitments. I really liked it! It was nice to see that it revived interest in Wilson Pickett and other R&Bers... IFC and Sundance have been showing quite a few movies from Ireland lately. I recently saw one on IFC about two kids who steal a horse (it was originally theirs, but the government had confiscated it) and head into western Ireland. Turns out the horse was the spirit of their dead mother. A little fanciful, but it was absolutely delightful. I think it was called Into the West...
