I think you got part of the story right but not all. With no base and a larger contigent of iraqi allies along with shrinkage in the population of insurgents we can get some good results. I am particularly interested on what is going on in Mosul now. I believe there are equal numbers of US and Iraqi forces and that those iraqi forces are the Pashmerga. Will the general population favor the Kurds over the terrorists and insurgents may be the $64 question up there. mike
