Would it be correct to attibute this belief to bin laden? to the mullahs in iran? to the wahabis in SA? Is this a more sunni or shiaa radical view?

I think main stream muslims may be tarred by this brush is because there is a reasonably large, vocal minority who have adopted this belief. Part of the way to overcome this bigotry is for folks like you to oppose it as loudly and as publicly as you can and as you do. I hope i havent offended you here. In matters of religion we all walk on thin ice except the buddhists of course. (g) Mike
