"Would it be correct to attibute this belief to bin laden? to the mullahs in iran? to the wahabis in SA? Is this a more sunni or shiaa radical view?"

My first guess is that they would find ways to declare everyone an enemy as they did with the World Trade Center bombings. However, even from the Radical perspective: It would be fair to say that anyone who 'opposes' them in establishing thier World Wide Khaliphate must be killed. They would agree to allow those who are willing to be subordinated by Islamic rule to live and be tolerated to practice their own religions as long as they made the same financial contributions that would be required of their Muslim followers. Only the Monotheistic religions would be recognized/tolerated though (sorry Sun Tzu, sorry trinity folk).

My personal view: All worldly religious authority is corrupted by political and personal lust for realestate, power, and social dominance. However, that is not to say that the message to believers from God is corrupt ...
