This company should be fined heavily!--"Paper giant accused of illegal logging in China"
Greenpeace China is accusing pulp and paper production giant Asia Pulp and Paper (APP) of illegal logging in remote Chinese forests.

Media campaigner Mo Xuan Li says APP has logged natural forests, not farmed trees as originally proposed under an agreement with the Yunnan provincial government.

Yunnan is home to much of China's rainforests.

Ms Li says APP has also been logging there for two years without permission from the central government.

"We have evidence, we have reason to believe that they were logging the natural forest there," she said.

"Number one - logging is illegal there, number two - they are logging, they have been and they are still logging the natural forest."
