We have differences on this subject, but so many fewer than I would have expected to have with you, and until you get to the end where you say "Racism in nature doesn't exist," which is merely a metaphor of some sort that can be interpreted as suits, and "Racism is just ignorance of self, just like abortion, homosexuality and all other corruptions of human identity," which I would call 'silly' except that the results of such primitive superstitions are so cruel, I think this it's a pretty good essay. Good enough so that I think, unless I change my mind (!), I think I'll let this lie, for now, at least.
I do want to acknowledge thinking maybe you aren't entirely insane. How's that for a compliment? Sorry, JP, it's the best I can do, taking into consideration the paranoid, egomaniacal "corruptions of human identity" conceit! For a while, there, reading, I was impressed, though.
You can enjoy that you undoubtedly blew the minds of a few people by (partly) stepping out of character, mine included (almost).
Don't bother to write the "I'm not stepping out of character" post; just figure I've read it already and save yourself a bit of trouble. |
