EP, That option play is OK, as the time decay is working for me, not against me, and so is the share price itself.

My issue is several:

(a) do not wish to be overly exposed to the short side going into the seasonally strong period;

(b) get back to the discipline of only shorting and not buying options;

(c) when to add to shorts on housing and initiate shorts on semi-con and the rest of the obvious candidates;

(d) when to add to longs on energy given current dip on the underlying stuff;

(e) where is my expected USD rally?

I figure all this gaming is not really that different as the happenings on the battle field, or sailing, or scuba diving. An issue of balance, risks, and rewards.

Chugs, Jay
