Did you ever participate in the Ask John Galt thread at SI? That was one of my very favorite threads, although I had to use every brain cell just to try to form a coherent answer.

The reason that I am asking is that there were very pleasant discussions of physics at that thread.

I am not sure why it ended. Many years have passed, but I remember vaguely that John Galt may have been injured in a bad auto accident or something.

It is a wonderful thread to reread when you need to exercise your atrophying brain, anyway.
