Big Decline in Young-Teen Births By Molotov - Booker Rising The birth rate among girls ages 10 to 14 has fallen to its lowest level since 1946. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say the rate has dropped 43%, even though the number of girls in this age group has climbed 16%. Researchers attribute the decline to sex education.
