No Grainne,
I never participated in Galt's thread. I did see some references to it by various posters. And thank you for jogging my memory about it.
IMO, the study of quantum physics and mechanics are just in their infancy and their laws and rules are wide open. It is just the tip of the ice berg of about what we are ready to learn. We have to scrap one, two, three, etc. dimensional thinking and move on to an infinite dimensional way of thought to the way we view ourselves and our surroundings. To be able to view any chosen moment with it's infinite possibilities will be one goal of ourselves. (( Too bad, we have a one-dimensional leader, sort of speak, that surrounds himself with the same, but we are basically still a one-dimensional society, so we get what we deserve, I guess. :( Or at least some do.) But I digress. <g>
By one-dimensional thought, I mean, thought that is based upon standard, conventional, accepted, etc. ways of living life and solving problems.. It is the easy way out, for lazy minds. But it leads us down to the same old solutions that leads us to the same old problems, ad infinitum.. As we see now unfortunately and tragically :( in Irag.. So laziness and the lack of curiousity of the "new" is a sin.. Because it can cause so much grief in the present.
But I better stop now as I could go on and on as one thought leads to another.. :) And I can't type as fast as my mind works. That's the why I like to discuss this type stuff in person. <g>.. I have a lot more to say, of course> :)
