Salah: Novell's current desparate state reminds me of our current 8 week old - very colicy - son who has had us/me up too often deep in the night over the past several weeks. Sorry friends, if I have appeared to be too negative on our beloved DOG, you can't blame me for the kind of inspiration I've had all around me - WHAAA, WHAAA, WHAAAA!!!
Ever since they announced earnings last week, I felt all the along the STREET - ie. the pros - KNEW THEY WERE TRAPPED. I wrote about this over on the FOOL - if you care to see my logic. So what do the denizens of the Street begin to do?? "Let's get the rumor mill stoked so we can spread out of our positions." Based on my trading contacts and a good dose of liberal "gut feel" I reasoned the Street was MASSIVELY LONG going into last Thursday - expecting a positive upside surprise. WRONG!
So my friends, we just experienced once again one of the biggest cons I have seen in a long time in this stock. Thanks Salah for outlining it in all the gorey details. You are right to be out of this stock right now.
Joe, it IS about M-O-N-E-Y and the crying of my son Thomas (yes, for those folks from the FOOL, I kid you not, he was born on the 4th of July) couldn't be anymore "Paineful" right now.
I must say, however, that I have found the Internet at least good for one thing right now: other than throwing him gently up in the air, sitting in my lap in front of the Internet/computer screen is the only force that has such an equally calming effect.
$7 and below, here we come all over again. A buyout WILL NOT happen.
Good luck to all! |
