I don't think Frist or Specter realize the strength of the opposition against Specter. Yet.

But they will.

The Senate Judiciary Committee is going to have to approve not one, not two, but three Bush appointees to the SCOTUS, including one to the Chief Justice position. Maybe four, if, God forbid, Scalia stands down. Bush needs somebody who's willing to play hardball.

Frist is a wuss. He's a nice man, probably a great doctor. But he's a wuss.

And Specter is a RINO. And Republicans are tired of the same-old same-old. We've got a Republican president, Republican House and Republican Senate, and if we don't get Republican laws passed and Republicans on the bench there's going to be hell to pay.
