Its a myth that there is a requirement for a "separation of church and state". There is no such language in the U.S. Constitution. Congress is prohibited from passing laws estabishing religion or passing law prohibiting the free exercise of religion. These are prohibitions on CONGRESS. The free exercise of religion while in the military is PROTECTED.
