Well, modern cars probably weigh at least 5 times what a model T weighed. That spells room and comfort. A moped gets like 80 miles per gallon, how many people want that? I think there IS no real solution in my lifetime, BUT we can start thinking out of the box to come up with something dramatic maybe 30 years from now. Hydrogen, nuclear, I dont know the answer but I dont think its gonna be electric. jdn
